Animal Bio
Mack is a big-hearted, adventurous 12 years young rescue dog. He was found by SARA (Save Animals By Rescue and Adoption) Society, with his mother and siblings, fending for themselves in a forest near Lytton, BC. In a dog run beside her house, a wonderful volunteer lovingly nursed this wormy and half-starved family back to health. They say animals choose their people and sure enough, Mack gave us the paws up, which to this day, we feel blessed. He has taught us much about authentic love and joy, and the transformative power of selflessness. Now, in his fight against cancer, he is showing us what determination looks like and hounding us to live each day to the fullest.
