Missy and her litter mate brother Milo came into our lives after my niece asked me if I wanted a kitten. I replied with "yes I do, a fluffy female".

As it turned out my sister-in-law was looking to get a cat for the mouse issue she was having around the house.
She found someone willing to give them a cat. They went to pick the cat up and arrived at a rundown house and property and was given a suitcase with the "Momma" cat and six one week old kittens. Not one word about the kittens until the suitcase was in my sister-in-laws hands. In my opinion the Momma cat and kittens hit the jackpot when they were given away.

I got the fluffy female I asked for and my husband chose a short hair tabby male to join our furry family as well.

Everything has turned out well with all the kitties. Four kittens have new wonderful homes and the Momma cat and two kittens happily stayed with my sister-in-law and my brother.

Now we are a happy furry family of four rescue cats, my husband and myself.

In this time of crisis vulnerable animals need our help more then ever. We all understand that times are tough on everyone and not everyone is able to help. For those of you that are able to help, please help Missy and Milo help other animals that are in need.

Not all the animals are as fortunate as ours are.
