Georgie is an almost 7 year old Terrier, Chihuahua, Poodle mix rescued from the Bahamas. He spent the first 3 years of his life on the streets and came into our lives at age 5 scared, sad, and lacking confidence.

When we first got Georgie, he didn't want to be touched and wouldn't accept any kind of affection. He is still nervous meeting new people, but he is working so hard to overcome his fears and be the best little boy. He is super smart and he loves to learn, he now knows over 30 words! We see his confidence improve each day and now he asks us for affection and showers us with kisses which is totally heart-melting.

He loves meeting new dogs, especially if they are his size or smaller, and he is really good at reading their body language. He has a special respect for other nervous dogs and he knows to give them space and be extra gentle with them. But if he can tell the other dog wants to play, his playful nature kicks in and he'll show you how many 360's in a row he can do and he'll put on a good zoomies show.

His hobbies include: hide and seek, dutifully helping his humans open the mail, going for walks and hikes (off-leash areas are his favourite), exploring the lakes and creeks, spotting squirrels, playing with toys, and snuggling with Mom.

Georgie has Mom and Dad wrapped around his paw and we aren't complaining ;)
