Back in late October of 2012 I was looking at the cats for adoption on the SPCA website and I came across this little kitten that was so tiny and he had just had his left eye out 3 or so weeks before. I wasn't looking to adopt another cat as I lost my cat Leslie about 4 months before and I said to myself that I wasn't getting another.It was just too hard when they pass. I just love looking at cats and kittens, but there was just something about this sad little kitten. I felt that he just needed me to be his Mum. I phoned about him,he was in Maple Ridge and I lived in Tsawwassen and it was a horrible rainy Friday and I don't like driving.So I asked when they closed,and I jumped in the car and on my way. My hands were just gripping the steering wheel the whole way there. It was getting dark and my windshield wipers were going top speed. I made it there at 4:30pm and they closed at 5pm. I made my way down to see the little guy and that was it! He was going to be mine,I was going to be his Mum. I named this little timid boy Howard. A big name for such a little guy. As you can see from the picture,Howard turned out to be a big Handsome flame point beauty. So that is the start of our life together, me and my beautiful one eyed furry son named Howard.
