Hero Bio
This little sweetheart was so tiny but she was unafraid of anything or anyone. She was also very curious and didn't let an opportunity go by that she didn't have her flat little nose in. She was rescued from a situation where 3 other cats in the home wouldn't leave her alone. The owner felt sorry for her and asked if I would take her even though I had a cat as well.
My cat was a big husky Bobcat Persion mix and male, so I thought it was worth a try. They took to each other right away, though truthfully the big male totally respected her " Princess attitude " and kept his distance.
This little darling was only with me for a short while. I was out with her in our yard which was almost a daily occurance in the summer time. She was an inside cat but went out when I was with her. This particular day she got too close to the neighbours fence when their Husky dog stuck his head through a 4 inch page wire opening and grabbed her. I was right there but could do nothing but scream. Neighbours came running but it was too late. She didn't suffer at all, it was so fast.
The reason I think she was a hero is that she taught me and others in the neighborhood not to trust dogs with your pets even though you think they are harmless.
