Trixie was found as a puppy at the dump. She had a chip bag on her head! When I saw her, I knew immediately that she was meant for me. She is now 4 years old and my best friend. When we met, I was at a low point in my life, I had just moved to a new town and knew nobody. Trixie saved me!
Trixie has such a personality!! She howls and talks to me with so much sass. She has a ton of energy and loves to run. She is currently recovering from knee surgery but has worked very hard to get back to small runs. She has big ears that seem to have a mind of their own. I haven't been able to pinpoint her mix, but think she is the perfect blend of mutt.
3 and a half years ago, Trixie had the fortune of becoming a little sister to my fiancee's 11 year old rotweiler border collie mix. She had been diagnosed with cancer and was anemic. She lasted 3 more years!! We both agree that Trixie played a big part in bringing her spirits up and making her feel young again.
Anyone that meets Trixie, instantly loves her. She brings joy to everyone and is garaunteed to put a smile on your face.
Trixie will forever and always be my hero.
