Franky was adopted from the Victoria SPCA in February 2013. He came to the SPCA from Alert Bay, where he had been running with a pack of other semi-wild dogs. Judging by his fear and healed over broken ribs, he had been pretty badly abused as a young dog. Since coming home with us, he has blossomed into a friendly and affectionate cuddle-bug, and a consumate mama's boy. He spends his weekends hiking all over Vancouver Island, and his evenings snuggled on the couch getting belly rubs.
