Marvin the Martian is a hairless Chinese Crested who was surrendered to the SPCA when his mom developed terminal cancer. Being a small dog, he was not doing well in the kennel environment, so my dog trainer friend volunteered to foster him. That weekend she brought Marvin to the local agility trial to introduce him to some sport homes. I had recently lost my old dog and Serena, my other dog was not doing well as the only dog in the house. By the end of the weekend, Marvin and Serena had met and I was in the process of adopting him.
By Friday, Marvin came home to stay. This tiny dog with his huge personality has filled the hole in our family. I am looking forward to playing agility with him. Look for him in the local agility circuit in the near future.
