We adopted Jasper as a senior cat from the WV SPCA a few years ago. Actually, he adopted us! He is a big boy and when he saw me (Krista) sit down in the cat room and that I had a nice wide lap for him, he casually walked over, jumped into my lap, began to purr and that was it! He has beautiful green eyes, long silky fur and is very vocal. His favourite thing to do is to snuggle (especially pinning down your arm so you can't leave!) and have us home with him. Sadly, our boy has developed a large cancerous tumor so we don't know how much time we have with him. But he still is a very happy cat - loving his food (especially his cat grass), napping in the sunshine on the deck, getting brushed, playing with his catnip carrot and toys, and of course sitting on your lap.
