Lucy was my canine soul mate! Although we lost her a short time ago, she gave me the BEST 14 years of my life ❤️. Lucy always made me laugh! She loved to talk (a low growl followed by silence, to see if we’d respond) to ask me to play. She was crazy about balls or snowballs - going nuts when we would lob her one to catch. Always ready for adventure, Lucy accompanied me on every hike and beach walk - and many many trips to Tofino (her favourite place to hang out). I bet she was the most photographed dog around - as she was my muse for many of my paintings! I must have done at least 10 or 12 paintings of her over the years. My favourite is this one - Nostrildamus - which is in a prominent spot where I can still see her every day 🐾
