Zoa is a 14-year-old 5.2 lb Chihuahua rescue. After far too many years of neglect this little gal’s best life began when she was rescued by Lower Mainland Humane Society and placed into foster care. Zoa's original owner passed away and for months she was neglected. She was shuffled off to a veterinarian to be put down, but thankfully they refused to do so, The Vet contacted Yuana, Founder of ​the Lower Mainland Humane Society who agreed to take her into her care and through the support of fosters and donors nursed her back to a stable and healthy condition. She is truly a beautiful dog, with a wonderful personality and demeanour. Although she now has no teeth, she has an amazing appetite! Blankets, sleep and short walks are her thing, and she is definitely the boss of our cats.
