Animal Bio
We adopted Trooper in February 2025 after he spent 5 months of his life at the Fraser Valley Regional District's animal shelter. Trooper is a year and a half old Great Dane and Cane Corso cross - which means he is a BIG Boy weighing in at 124 lbs. A true gentle giant. He loves all dogs, even if they are merely the size of his head, and lays down with his head on his paws when a dog approaches. We think he does this so the approaching dog won't be afraid of his big size. His favourite things include following us around the house to every room we go, performing somersault flips, perching his bum up on the coach and staring you right in the eyes, watching The Nature of Things TV show - especially the episodes on monkeys and birds and smacking himself while playing with his Jolly Ball.
