Animal Bio
Dode was born in the lush surroundings of a farm in Langley BC. He is a Golden Retriever with a snow white coat and big black eyes. He has become a beloved member of our family, especially to a young granddaughter whom he snuggles up to whenever he can. Dode is rather independent and does not socialize with many dogs. He loves his walks along a forest trail above Burrad Inlet and eagerly explores the neighbourhood of Burnaby Heights en route to his favourite off leash park where he mostly sniffs the perimeter seeking out messages he finds interesting. Dode’s gentle disposition is irresistible.

Dode is a communicator. Friends and family shake their heads when, at times, he actually speaks his mind with, continuous low growls and the occasional bark. If you choose the wrong direction on a walk Dode will simply sit down and will not move until you make a correction. These behaviours make Dode one of the most entertaining dogs and our love for him grows and grows every day.
