Animal Bio
Meet Vino. Yes, his name literally means “wine,” which makes it hilariously ironic that he’s entering a contest to get his face on a beer can. But honestly, irony is kind of his thing. At five years old, this goofy, sweet, high-energy rescue pup has already lived a life big enough to fill several pint glasses. But for us, putting his face on a beer can isn’t just a celebration of him—it’s a celebration of every rescue dog who’s been given a chance to shine.

Vino doesn’t realize it, but his story isn’t just his own. He represents every dog still waiting for a second chance - the ones still living on the streets, still sitting in shelters, still carrying scars. By sharing his journey, we’re raising money to make sure more dogs can follow in his pawprints: from trauma to trust, from fear to love, from hopelessness to home.

So why Vino? Because he embodies resilience, joy, and the kind of goofy charm that makes life better. Because his face isn’t just cute; it’s a reminder that love can transform even the hardest stories. And because, let’s be honest, there’s something undeniably funny about cracking open a beer with a smiling dog named after wine staring back at you.

Vino’s story began on the streets of India, where survival was a daily battle. By the time he was about a year old, he’d already carried more trauma than any dog should and called too many places home. When we adopted him, his eyes were guarded, his body tense, and his trust fragile. But even then, behind the fear, there was a spark.

Four years later, that spark has become a firework show. Vino has blossomed into a dog who is equal parts lovebug, goofball, and Energizer bunny. He sprints through life with a bit of a tail wag, a sparkle in his eyes, and a knack for making everyone laugh. He didn’t just adjust to his new world—he changed ours.
