Maximus is the Commander of the Armies of 10th Ave in Castlegar and 1st Ave in Kits!!
And also a very friendly and playful 4 and 1/2 year old boy...
Max lived his first 4 years with a family before they had to give him up to the SPCA when their housing changed.
My mom, Kay Jones, along with her grandson Wesley, adopted Max in April this past spring after her husband David passed. Max gave her friendship and great calm company in her final 3 months before her passing in July.
Max now lives with us, myself and her grandson, in Vancouver. Max loves playing with his toys and with human hands and feet, he's very gentle, no claws unless you really overdue it.
He also loves outside leash walks which he'd never had before this summer, and mooching for leftover cereal milk ;)
We'd love for him to be Pet of the Month in honor of mom, Nana-Kay, Kay... But more importantly to raise money for the SPCA which she supported both financially and otherwise for many many years.
