Tell us about your pet and why they should win!
She lived on the streets before we adopted her. She didn’t trust anyone and was afraid of her own shadow. She has one eye that she cannot see out of. She took a very long time to adjust to our home, but over the years, she has gained confidence and learned to trust her new family. She then had to move from California to North Carolina, which was very scary for her because everything was strange and unfamiliar to her, and her anxiety increased again. She was even so afraid of the toothbrush that many of her teeth have had to be pulled because we were unable to clean them. However, she learned to adapt and is now a very happy and brave scruffy little dog.
