Honey and I were paired for a foster weekend in January 2023. I adopted her within 5 days!! I couldn’t resist that floppy ear, big smile & huge heart. Within the last year, Honey has become a part of the Durham community. She loves walking to foster coffee, getting pup cups from BullCity Ciderworks and lunchtime play with her neighbors. She has overcome her fear of city buses with LOTS of training and hot dogs, she has besties with back yards (mama is still working her way there). Honey is brave, she is smart, she is happy and she is social. When something scares her, we work together to overcome it. We one day hope to get involved in therapy dog work, but for now the biggest focus is settling in to her new community, feeling safe and feeling loved :)
