Magikarp (Magic for short) was a sponsored rescue due to how long she had been in her shelter. She was a "sick" cat who was given medicine and prescription food for liver issues she picked up as a stray. We met her a year and a half ago and she chose to come home with us after a temporary placement became her new forever home! She's been with us for over a year and has recovered from her medical conditions. She loves laying on empty pizza boxes, playing with her kitty cat brother Ves, and cuddling with her mom and dad. Magic should win because she embodies that every cat, no matter how long they've been in the shelter or what condition they're in, deserves to find a good home.
