We found this guy on the side of the road. He was very malnourished and was sick. It took several hours and a team effort to catch him.
He went to APS of Durham for a couple of weeks where no one came looking for him. He didn’t didn’t fair well at the shelter. He was so scared and anxious he wouldn’t eat. He had kennel cough and wouldn’t take medicine since he wasn’t eating.
We kept following up on him in hopes he would find a good home, but we learned from the shelter that he was to be euthanized due to the kennel cough.
We couldn’t let that happen so we decided to foster him. Once he was home with us he blossomed into the sweetest gentle giant. Needless to say we failed at fostering and added him to our family.
We don’t know where he came from or from what circumstances l, but we are so grateful to have him in our lives.
