Chiffy Eisner had a rough start in life, and was picked up from the streets of Greensboro as an unhoused and malnourished stray at approximately 3 months old. When his destined human entered the shelter he instantly recognized her and did everything he could to get her attention. Although Sharon thought she was looking for a small, female dog, she, too, felt the power of Love At First Sight and quickly signed the commitment papers. Together, they have spent the last 13+ years roaming the streets of Durham, lying around coffee shops, and fostering pups in need. Chiffy has taken the role of alpha dog in the family while Sharon plays more of a support role, keeping food, toys and treats well stocked. Chiffy’s Finest Hour: One day at the beach, he inexplicably actively prevented Sharon from entering the water. Sure enough, there was a shark attack on that beach within the hour. Pretty amazing, right?? It has been a good life for the Chiffster, filled with love, snuggles, annd meaningful moments. However, it would be an honor in his old age to be recognized as one of the Best Doggos Ever. We hope you vote for him!
