Everyone who knows Disco is happy he is here with us. When he was a puppy, he had severe anemia and the vets were concerned he wouldn't make it. He pulled through long enough for us to discover the cause - a rare tickborne illness that he probably inherited from his mama, who had been found as a stray, pregnant and covered in ticks. Now, he is fully thriving and living his best life!

Disco brings joy to all who knows him. He recently went on a beach trip with myself, my partner, and his whole family. Everyone was grateful that he was there, especially grandma, who was missing her own pup. Anytime he sees a new friend, he says hi to them and makes them feel appreciated. In a world where people are valued for how much money they have or how pretty they are or how smart they are, Disco makes me feel loved for just being myself. He has taught me so much about friendship and I think everyone should get to feel that in their life!
