We rescued Montana from Redbarn Rescue 4 years ago. He was heartworm positive and going through treatments, but once we met him we just knew that he was the right dog for our family. He truly is the best boy! He is so sweet, so loving, has never met a human or dog he does not love. He loves going to the dog park. He will spend time chasing and playing with other dogs, and then make his rounds to all the people to say hi and get some pets from them. He loves his family (people and dog sibling) more than anything and just wants to be around them.

We did DNA testing on him and found out that he is 50% Golden Retriever, and part lab and husky too. He has the sweet disposition of a Retriever, and the love of snow like a husky! We were so surprised to see he did not have any Bernese Mountain Dog in him though, we thought for sure based on his coloring!
