We rescued Scout from Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary after our beloved Schnauzer passed away. Our other dog Montana really needed a new friend. Scout was being fostered with her mom and litter-mates and we had the opportunity to meet all of them, and instantly fell in love with her silly personality and cute eyebrows. She is the sweetest, silliest little girl, who loves her family and brother Montana more than anything. She was the perfect addition to our family!

Full grown, Scout is about 30 pounds and has one ear that stands up and one that flops over, which is so funny and totally matches her personality. She looks like she probably has some chihuahua mixed in her, but we did DNA testing and were shocked to find out that she is 50% Australian Shepherd, and then a mix of lab, pit bull, boxer and chow chow. Not sure how all those big dogs made our funny little Scout!

You may recognize Scout from the gallery at Coco in Chapel Hill (she was previously named Ruthie). She is kind of a big deal :-)
