Luna is a rescue from Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary who completed our family this past September. Her DNA test revealed she is mainly an Australian cattle dog, pitbull, and treeing walker coonhound mix- a mix of breeds as unique as she is. She is wildly intelligent, silly, sassy, curious, and so full of love. She LOVES to play fetch, so much so that we even play indoors (don't tell her dad). This picture is her "throw the ball" face. She was about 4 months old when we first noticed it, but she still makes this face every time.

Did I mention she's smart and sassy? She was named after the moon goddess, and she knows it! She talks back to us when she disagrees. No, not barks- she talks, and she has a lot to say. And peanut butter distractions for medicine or nail trimmings? You can't fool her twice! She has actually run away from peanut butter because she knows what we're up to.
