Gracie was rescued by Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary. It appears that someone actually threw her away with their trash!?! Gracie was found with both her rear hips dislocated and severe leg injuries from dragging herself around. Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary did not hesitate to take on the challenge of getting this sweet girl back in shape. As you can see in the picture, Gracie was upgraded with a really fancy super cart. Since becoming fully mobile Gracie has not stopped going! She still helps out at adoption events by showing people that no animal should be given up on without a chance to succeed. Gracie also enjoys going to wellness events at schools to help teach students about all the wonderful physical, mental, and emotional benefits of owning a pet. Gracie truly loves everybody and all animals, especially here pack of dog friends she zooms around with at the dog park. After a busy day of running, walking, or just licking everyone, you can often see Gracie cooling her belly on the sidewalk outside her favorite cafe, Coco Bistro & Bar here in Chapel Hill.
