We rescued River during the pandemic when he was an 8 month old puppy from a Charlotte-area rescue. He is the most gentle, loving dog! He has a heart-melting head tilt when asked a question, loves to hunt for socks in the laundry, and can’t wait for his evening walks where he can sniff every blade of grass and chase all the squirrels. Sleeping is his 9am-5pm job. Despite his name being River, he’s hesitant about bodies of water and doesn’t like things on wheels (mainly bikes and roller blades). He wiggly dances for treats and has been told his nose makes him look like he belongs in Dr. Suess’s Whoville. River’s never met a person (or couch) he didn’t love!
