When I got Kimchi I had been preparing for my first dog ever that I had dreamed about for years - got a new house, put in a fence. I was rejected by a local organization due to my busy work schedule. I found Kimchi from a rescue organization that was going to have to put her in a high kill shelter in a week. To my delight they accepted me (guess I'm better than a high kill shelter), and from the second I laid eyes on her I was in love. Over the years we have grown so close that we are practically weaved into one. She is the lead of her pack and all the dogs in her pack adore her and always want to be with her. She is fiercely loyal to me and her wide circle of aunties and uncles. She brings nothing but joy into this world melting peoples hearts with just one look. I am going through treatment for cancer now, and I couldn't ask for a better nurse/companion. I can't even imagine how much worse this world would have been if she had gone to the high kill shelter.
