Chickens, aka Chicky, aka Chicky nugget, formal name: Charles Dickens, is the goodest boy you’ll ever meet. I rescued him 10 years ago when I lived in New York and it was love at first sight. He was found roaming the streets of West Virginia and was luckily saved the day he was supposed to be put down at the pound. He loved the snow but was very happy when we returned to the South. He still acts like a puppy, but loves to snuggle and going for his daily walkies. He’s very smart and can tell when people need a little extra love. He’s best friends with his roommates Zooey and Milo, but thinks of himself as king of the house. He loves kids and gives them kisses and just sits while he gets pets. His hobbies include chewing on sticks, car rides and looking out the window. He loves canned dog food and is scared of the stove top. He’s been by my side during many chapters of my life and I feel so lucky we found each other.
