Chili is a fun, energetic, Australian Cattle Dog rescue who always makes himself the life of the party. I adopted Chili from the humane society of the Pikes Peak region when I was living in southern Colorado and his alternatives were bleak. He went from a rowdy pup who was supposed to be working on a farm all-day to the sweetest, most loyal dog anyone could ever ask for. He should win because he defines what it means to be a rescue: he is loyal, dependable, loving, the right amount of protective, and above all, fun. Chili, much like a good beer, is always able to lift up those around him.
