We saw Phoebe the first time while fostering kittens, held in the med room at APS summer of 2018 —she was picked up by sheriffs during a warrant, found in a back room with a “chicken wing” instead of her right front leg. “Hope” she was appropriately called—she was then fostered by Hope Rescue and we HAD to bring her home. Surgery/amputation was a huge success—she is THE MOST AGILE DOG on 3 or 4 legs!! OBSESSED with her ball from the minute she’s up, catching it on one bounce running down from a 2 story deck—amazing rescue dog and shows everyone “disability” doesn’t have to mean limitation 🐶💜
