Paddy is a huge success story for pets with disabilities! I adopted her on her first birthday because, I mean, look at that face! She is near totally deaf and her first two attempts at adoption failed in her first year of life. My experience in training my previous four dogs with hand signals was her ace in the hole for she has become a happy, fun loving, gentle soul. She is brimming with confidence and a loyal companion. Chasing bubbles in a large fenced area is her thing! You would never know she is deaf until you try to call her. That to me defines her!
