Max came into my life when he was only 4 weeks old. I noticed his photo on the Wake County SPCA site and knew I had to meet him. I went to the shelter and he was nowhere to be found. I asked a volunteer and they didn't see him either, and we ultimately located him in quarantine with his siblings due to a respiratory infection. We opened the cage and he literally leapt into my hands! It was love at first sight--runny nose and all. Max is known for his "boxing mitt" front paws, awesome head butts, and his adoration for his stuffed toy, Fishy.
