Perdie was adopted from Hope Animal Rescue in March 2020. She had been a stray, found with pneumonia. After a month with us, she got pneumonia again and the typical antibiotics didn't work. Following several rough months with many vet visits and seeing specialists, she was diagnosed with chronic idiopathic bronchitis, meaning her lungs are chronically inflamed. But she has never let this stop her from living her life to the fullest!

Perd is endlessly charming, a world-class cuddler, and lover of all living creatures - dogs, cats, babies, men (but especially men - she recently tore her ACL after getting too excited seeing a male friend of ours). She’s the sole reason many of us are making it through grad school. Our spoiled little lady gives us reason to wake up, makes us laugh, and shows us that life can in fact be simple - all you need is the sun and some friends :) While she makes crazy noises that sound like a gremlin and often shoots snot boogers out her nose, a gentler, sweeter girl is hard to find.
