Aurora was in a litter of 4 puppies that were dropped off at Burlington Animal Shelter in the Fall of 2022. The whole litter had the parvo virus, which is often lethal for puppies. The rescue group Pawfect Match covered their hospital costs and all 4 survived. When she was well enough, Aurora went to a foster home which is where we met her and chose her to be our new family member. She is 80% Siberian Husky and has several other breeds' DNA mixed in. Recently we introduced her to our favorite hobby - stand up paddleboarding - and we are so proud of her for being a great board partner. She is our baby girl and we love her.
