Tell us about your pet and why they should win!
Sheba is a 15 year old elderbull that joined our home as a (likely forever) foster a couple of weeks ago. She spent her entire life living outside - first chained up and then in a small enclosure. She came to us with no teeth, missing fur, lots of lumps and bumps, bad arthritis, and is heartworm positive. Despite her conditions and circumstances, though, she is still one of the sweetest and most affectionate dogs I’ve ever met. She is so loving and wants nothing more than a warm, cozy bed and a human to snuggle up with. We don’t know how much time she has left, but we’ve promised to give her a comfortable and safe home to relax in and live out the rest of her days. She is the most perfect elderbull pup and I hope she encourages lots of other people to foster and adopt senior dogs!
