Jackson is my first basset. He will be 4 on November 30th. He arrived in our home during a time of great sadness after losing my westie Olivia unexpectedly. For three months her bondmate Brie mourned. When I brought Jackson home I thought I was bring him home for her only to realize God had a much greater plan for my sweet boy. Only 5 months after his arrival I would lose my wolfhound Darla and 6 weeks after that Brie. I seriously don't know how I would have coped if I hadn't had this sweet, lovable, ornery, mischievous, and hilarious boy to help get me through. He was heaven sent for sure. He now is an embassdor for Suncoast basset rescue and helps me with all my fosters. Love him to bits and cannot imagine life without him.
