Piper would like for you to believe that she has lived a life of labor and struggle in spite of her stable and loving family. Struggles include the denial of the basic Basset right of rummaging through the trash and climbing on the table to see if anything good to eat is up there. In this photo, she was forced to get up from her nap to stand on the stairway and observe her subjects. Sadly, standing was too much for her tired bones to bear, so a slouch was in order.

Hobbies include rolling in things, grazing on ornamental plants (nontoxic), sleeping, bursts of explosive energy, and collecting odors.
