I adopted Benson “Benny” from Belly Rubs on Valentines Day in 2016. Perfectly fitting because he was a total love bug! He loved every person or animal he came in contact with. Even when I had to leave him at UT vet for a week after back surgery, he made himself at home and the bond he made with his doctors was so sweet. They laughed that the hardest part of his recovery was that he never stopped wagging his tail/whole body from being so happy all of the time. He was truly the best boy with a sweet, gentle soul. He made everyone’s day he came into contact with better just by existing. I had to say goodbye to Benny May of 2020 but he played a big part in growing our love for hounds.
