Nash came to our family as a foster dog in late 2012. He was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in early 2013. Chemo didn't work, so doctors stopped treatment and gave him three months to live. That was eight months ago. Nash is still wagging and happy. The tumor in his neck is large, but his will to live is larger. He lived long enough to be King of the Waltz and now he's lived long enough to be a Calendar Hound.
