We got Bogardus from the Clara Randall's basset rescue outside of Memphis. She was at the pound looking at "Boggie" while I was checking out a dog for Newfoundland rescue. Boggie ran out of the cage and rolled over for bellyrubs. He was skin and bones and had been "travelling" for a while. I couldn't resist his cute personality. When he was younger he wouldn't come in the house until he had run around a piece of porch furniture with his tail spinning around in a circle. Boggie also "talks" to you groaning and soft growling.
