We are an all-volunteer organization working to find good homes for abandoned, abused and unwanted basset hounds and basset mixes in Tennessee, north Mississippi, and eastern Arkansas.
We are a hands-on rescue allowing all of our dogs to be part of our families. They are checked and treated by our veterinarians and treated as necessary.
The Facts…
- Belly Rubs Basset Rescue is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation and donations are tax deductible.
- Belly Rubs Basset Rescue does not have a physical location but relies entirely on foster volunteers to house the dogs until they can be placed in forever homes.
- All of our dogs are spayed or neutered as soon as possible after coming into rescue, and before being adopted out.
- All of our dogs receive medical care as needed and financially feasible.
- Belly Rubs Basset Rescue has saved over 600 dogs since 2006.
