His lordship Duke-Wayne resides upon his humble estate in Nashville, Tennessee. He took his current owner under his protection in June of 2013 after being rescued by Belly Rubs in 2012. Despite his apparent grumpiness with strangers, his favorite activity is using his owner as a human-chair, as he is certain that he is a lap-sized basset of ONLY 65 lbs.

Duke enjoys 1-2 miles of leash walking daily, followed by wrinkle recharge on his doggie couch. He has also enjoys giving back to the local community by providing basset yoga classes in the morning to those less-droopy than himself. He is currently in the process of penning his autobiography, titled 'Short Legs, Tall Needs', which he dictates to his human underling through a series of grunts, sighs, and snorts. Other interests include post-bathtime zoomies, staring contests with the neighbors cats, and general basseting.
