Baxter is a Knoxville basset ... I adopted him when he was just a few months old. He's now 14 years old and gray in the face. In the last three years he has been paralyzed 3 times for months at a time (unable to walk due to his chronic back issues), had to have emergency surgery for bloat, and an emergency Splenectomy. But this boy is a fighter ... he's my angel on earth and the love of my life. :) I know our time is short with him being 14, but he absolutely loves life and belly rubs, so as long as he wants them, he's going to get them!
