Please tell us something fun or interesting about the dog in the photo. Is this a Belly Rubs dog? If so, how long has he or she been a part of your family? Can you share something special that we could include on our calendar if your photo wins?
Opie has been part of our family for two years this January. He was rescued by Belly Rubs in December 2012, and has come a long way from the scared, skiddish, underweight basset who first arrived! Opie loves his long walks in our neighborhood in the mornings and evenings, and enjoys an entourage-type following of kids that live two streets over. They open their sunroofs and windows and scream his name as they drive down the street. He struts to their yards and waits for them to come give him belly rubs. From his velveteen ears to his circle wagging tail, Opie is one sweet little hound, and is beloved by everyone he meets!!
