Copper was listed for sale on Craigslist for $50,000. I emailed the owner, & said, "I know that bassets are awesome dogs, but how much do you REALLY want for him?" It turns out that he was free to a good home. I had just lost my 1st basset, BJ, to lymphoma, so as soon as I talked my husband into it, we met Copper, & the rest is history!
