BENCHS (Blue Earth and Nicollet County Humane Society) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no kill animal shelter that cares for and provides medical attention to stray and abandoned dogs and Cats and is located at the Riverside Regional Pet Shelter in Mankato MN. Every month 50 new animals are brought in from surrenders, the Mankato Animal Impound and the Blue Earth Animal Impound and every animal is cared for until it is adopted. BENCHS receives no funding from state or local government agencies and have no support from the national animal welfare or humane societies we operate completely on the funding of local donors, businesses and volunteers.
