In Greek mythology, Helen of Troy, also known as Helen of Sparta, was said to have been the most beautiful woman in the world. She was married to King Menelaus of Sparta but was abducted by Prince Paris of Troy after the goddess Aphrodite promised her to him in the Judgement of Paris. Our shelter Helen is one of our most beautiful and is waiting for her Prince Paris of Troy to adopt her and make her the queen of the house. Helen may be blind but she makes up for it with snuggles and love. Don't overlook her at the shelter.
