At 14 years old, Daisy Bee has every reason to have given up on life… but she didn’t.

I saw her photo online, a tiny chihuahua and a victim of cruelty, with cataracts clouding her world. In a loud, overwhelming shelter, she couldn’t see where to go, find her food, or protect her fragile body. In a Foster Home she could not compete with other dogs.

Chihuahuas are known for their big personalities, but Daisy Bee’s strength came from survival. She had learned to be fierce because she had to be.

So I brought her home.

I sat beside her so she wouldn’t feel alone, feed her gently with a spoon, and carry her in and out potty because she cannot find the door.

Trust didn’t come overnight.

She still shows me her tiny teeth when I pick her up, but now it comes with confidence, not fear. It’s her way of saying she feels safe, loved, and home.

Today, she is completely blind, Vet declined eye surgery due to heart issues but Daisy Bee is living her best golden years.

She rules the house.
She owns my king-size bed.
And I happily let her, I wouldn’t dare argue with her!

Daisy Bee isn’t just a rescue story. She’s proof that love and patience can transform a life.
And now, she deserves to be celebrated.
