Hugo was adopted by my husband (new boyfriend at the time) from the Animal Rescue League when he was an estimated 7 months old. He was found as a stray. My husband, Trent, was getting over the loss of his 8 year old Pitt mix Stella, who was also adopted from the ARL. Hugo won his heart and quickly won mine as well. He helped Trent find peace and brought so much joy to our lives. I like to think Hugo was our furry match maker bringing us closer together every day. He has endless energy and loves to go on overnight hiking/camping trips. He once ran a 25K trail race with Trent through the Allegheny mountains. It's hard not to fall in love with Hugo. He is such a cuddle bug & has such a kind heart. We now have a one year old daughter and he surprises me everyday with how gentle and kind he is to her. They have also become best friends and it is one of the sweetest things to watch them play together. We love this cuddle bug so much. He started our pack & completes our pack!
