Stitch was rescued in December 2018 from Manhattan Animal Care and Control death row mere minutes before he was to be euthanized. We made the drive from Pittsburgh to get our boy, and would do it a hundred times over for this handsome hippo. He gets along great with his pitbull sister Lilo and boxer brother Max. He even tries to play with the cats who are slightly less than enthusiastic about it. Stitch is a quick learner and eager to please. He's also a bed hog. His favorite pass times include eating ice cubes, wrestling with his sister, and snuggling with mom or dad. He's goofy and lovable, and has been the best addition to our family. Taking a chance on a dog we had only seen a photo of, and knowing that his life was literally being saved, was one of the best decisions we ever made.
